Golf Goes Punk!

This project was part of my second year of work at university and was given by Jump Studio a Populous company.
The International Women’s Golf Championship prides itself
on being innovative and a trailblazer in the sporting world. However, they want to attract even more people now
by focusing on a younger audience demographic both
male and female to create an even split in groups. As well
as this they want to make sure that they are including families
in this focus too and so the idea to make this event inclusive
for all is very important.

The brief

The brief was to create something new and exciting in the form of brand activation for the Women’s Golf Championship. The core focus was to create design concepts that would enhance the spectator experience, allow further increase in ticket sales and focus on raising revenue.

Rationale

The idea was to research brands that would align with the same brand values that the Women’s Golf Championship stands for. It was important to consider the area where the brands will come to life at the event and how this will enhance and offer an experience that benefits their current spectators and encourages a new demographic of people to attend the event.
